1st internet supporters club of MSV Duisburg
Lucky-Zebras are no longer the only but they were the first internet supporters club of MSV Duisburg. With a membership of about 90 we are one of the biggest supporters clubs of MSV. Our members hail not only from Duisburg but from all over Germany. Men, women and children of all ages are represented in our club. Our managing committee consists of 5 members who were elected for 2 years by the annual general meeting. All members get the chance to play an active part.
Many members can be found at every home match of MSV inside the stadium. Some take part in away trips with Hans Wolkinger's supporters coach, indoor tournaments or even the team's training camp. Our Lucky-Zebras banner is always with us.
A great deal Lucky-Zebras members is also member of MSV Duisburg. By their participation in annual general meetings they make use of their voting right to define and represent interests of the supporters and respetively to bring changes about. This has, among other things, lead to the achievement that one of our members, Markus Räuber, is member of MSV Duisburg's supervisory board where he acts as chairman.
Collective leisure activities both in conjunction with activities of MSV Duisburg and outside are regular events for our members. Among this are barbecue dinners, participation in supporters football tournaments, visits of tv shows, bowling tournaments, christmas celebrations, summer parties and many more. We often invite our honorary members to these activities. This way we could already receive the „voice of Wedau“ Günter Stork, Ivo Grlic, Thomas Vana, Pino Steininger and many others in the past. We regularly decorate people as „Lucky-Zebra of the year“ who have rendered outstanding services to MSV or our supporters club and who should therefore be honoured from our point of view.
We use the medium of the internet to provide Inforrmation about MSV and to foster location-independent exchange of thoughts.
As Lucky-Zebras we keep in touch with representatives of the club and with other supporters. The managing committee regularly takes part in meetings of the supporters' board and informative meetings. Our member Udo Hagemann is a member of MSV Duisburg's supporters' board. In the past we have also participated in various supporters' tournaments. Upon all activities which took place in context with the revocation of the licence we showed stripes, of course.
Everybody is welcome irrespective of sex, nationality, ethnic origin, religion, disablement, sexual orientation or age. We clearly distance ourselves from all forms of violence, discrimination and racism! To support MSV together and to have fun in doing so is the most important things for us!
